Busta Rhymes pays homage to his Jamaican roots with the release of his new single “Girlfriend” with Incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel and Canadian Rapper Tory Lanez.
The hip hop icon first hinted at the new track last month while he was in Jamaica doing some recording and even shoot a music video. Busta has always been a huge fan and close friend of Vybz Kartel, as seen back in 2014 when he flew to the island to show support during the self-proclaimed Worl Boss’ murder trial.
“Girlfriend” is produced by legendary New York producer Rockwilder and serves as Busta Rhyme’s first official single since his new deal with Epic Records.
