Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel has been reported safe following the outbreak of a massive fire at the Tower Street Adult Correctional facility.
The convicted Dancehall superstar is reportedly unaffected, following the massive blaze which engulfed a section of the maximum security facility where the entertainer is being housed.
Drama erupted on Wednesday afternoon after a massive blaze broke out at a section of the more than 100 year old facility which currently the entertainer.

According to reports, the fire has been contained to specific area of the facility known as the George Davis Centre, which host approximately 30 inmates. This area is reportedly not where the convicted entertainer is currently housed.
Sources say the inmates from the affected area of the facility have been transferred to another section of the prison.
There have been no reports of injury or fatalities.
