Major announcement for Vybz Kartel fans.
According to members of the incarcerated Dancehall superstar’s team, Kartel is set to release a brand new album next month.
Sources close to the self-proclaimed ‘Worl Boss’ says “This new album will be his [Vybz Kartel]’s best work thus far in his career,” the ‘Fever’ deejay will reportedly try to cash in on the international market.
While the name of the project wasn’t revealed, it will be produced by TJ Records and feature a slew of Rappers and singers from the US, UK and Nigeria.

“We going for a whole new target audience, we keeping the dancehall sound but taking it modern fi cross over the waters better,” the source added.
The forthcoming project will be Vybz Kartel’s third album since his incarceration. The Gaza deejay released “Viking (Vybz Is King)” back in 2015 and “King Of The Dancehall” in 2016.
Kartel is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of former associate Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. His appeal hearing is set for July 9.
