Vybz Kartel’s family members are deeply concerned over his health following news that the Dancehall superstar has been admitted to hospital with a kidney infection.
The ‘Fever’ deejay was rushed to the University Hospital of the West Indies under heavy police guard after complaining of pains in his side on Monday.
According to reports, the self-proclaimed ‘Worl Boss’ has been ill since last week Wednesday, however his condition failed to improve despite getting treatment from the medical staff at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Center.

Vybz Kartel’s family are now asking fans and well-wishers to keep the deejay in their prayers, “All we can do now is hope and pray that everything will be ok with his (Vybz Kartel) health and we are just asking his fans and supporters to do the same… pray, i’m begging you all,” one family member told The Tropixs. “We all know something was wrong with Addija from the last photos that were uploaded on his Instagram account,” another added.
