Vybz Kartel is claiming the Dancehall throne and blasting his rivals.

The incarcerated entertainer took shots at veteran deejay Beenie Man on Instagram when he declared that he is the new King of Dancehall and any other king is Burger King.

“One Worl’ Boss One #Don One #King … any other king is @burgerking ?,” Kartel wrote under a video of his recent Fox 5 New York news feature.

Kartel also dissed MVP members, Mavado and Alkaline under another post, “Some a Dem dj ya live a farin and nobody nuh know dem…dem say me live a #prison but the #King stays #Risen,” he added.

Vybz Kartel was dubbed the King of Dancehall on Wednesday when he was featured on Fox 5 New York news.

“He is one of the biggest names in Caribbean music despite being in prison for years, we are talking about the King of Dancehall, Vybz Kartel,” the anchors said.

Fox 5 NY’s general assignment reporter, Lisa Evers then shared an incredible story about Vybz Kartel’s rise to fame in the Dancehall industry and possible redemption as he awaits a verdict in his appeal trial.

“For years millions of fans have been chanting the phrase, free “Worl’ Boss” one of the many names for Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel, a court ruling from a three judge panel and release from prison is expected soon but lock down hasn’t kept the King of Dancehall from dropping new music,” Evers said.
