The Dancehall industry is currently mourning the death of disc jockey, DJ National.

DJ National passed away after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident earlier this month. The prominent disc jockey spent some time in the hospital undergoing treatment but succumb to his injuries on Saturday.

DJ National was a close affiliate to the Squash-led 6ixx camp as well as a slew of Montego Bay-based dancehall artistes including Shaneil Muir and Uptop Boss Teejay.

“Me bredda Me blood me fam 🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸😢😢😢😢😢,” Squash captioned a photo of National shortly after the devastating news broke. “Goood are bad times you mek me laugh me blood 😭,” he said in a follow-up post.
