Spice came under fire on Monday after she uploaded a video of an illegal party in Jamaica.

The Queen of Dancehall was excited that her new song “Frenz” was already an anthem on the island, that she forgot about the current COVID-19 restrictions under the Disaster Risk Management Act.

While events are prohibited, the event also clearly exceeded the 15 people limit imposed on gatherings by the Government of Jamaica.

Spice took to her Instagram account and shared a video of “Frenz” being played at an illegal party over the weekend and wrote, “Meanwhile In Jamaica 🇯🇲 Frenz already a anthem ✊🏿 one of The most powerful song I’ve ever done.”

One Dancehall fan commented on the post and said, “Which Jamaica this ? A cya this ya one ya with corona 👀 The song bad but mighty God these people a make me fret.”

“Ummm 🤔 corona no keep out here?,” another questioned.

“But you still gotta encourage your fans TO WEAR THEIR MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCE….WE all know long time seh sum frenz nuh gud fi wi 🙄🙄 #calculated smh CORONA VIRUS ISSA REAL THING. GOD OVA MAN ALLLLL DI TIME, NOT ONLY WEN WI GET CAUGHT UP INNA 👀🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️👀,” another comment read.
