Quada has finally opened up about his recent arrest and aspects of the music industry.
Quada recently sat down for an interview with The Fix where he spoke on a range of topics including his recent arrest.
During the interview, the deejay continued to profess his innocence saying, “I am just an innocent yute.”
“Innocent yute, mi never beat no man, mi never shoot no man, mi a tell yuh that straight,” he declared. He would go on to add “Yuh waa hear say yuh deh when yuh nuh deh deh? link people man.”
Quada further detailed his tribulations saying, “when yuh fi be great yuh get the most fight enuh bredda, all fight weh yuh nuh know bout.”
When about his mental state following the arrest Quaada replied, “Bredda mi tek it optimistically, it might sound cliche but..”
Earlier this year the deejay created headlines after he was arrested and charged with murder. The 23-year-old was charged in relation to the death of Miguel Williams, 30, on April 17, 2019.
Quada also candidly spoke about the politics involved in the music industry, recalling his early days.
According to the deejay, he faced many roadblocks before signing to Popcaan’s Unruly Label. He described recalled situations where he was shunned by producers, and how this ultimately inspired him.
Quada also discussed the importance of having a team, emphasizing the importance of proper structure. He says much of his sound and creative ideas were fostered by being in a progressive circle.
