Dancehall artiste Mavado will be answering Vybz Kartel’s recent diss single ‘Step’ within a few days.

Last week the incarcerated Dancehall superstar released the gritty TJ Records-produced track taking jabs at the ‘Gully Gad.’ “Portmore trick him mek mi kill him,” Kartel deejays answering Mavado’s “Portmore tell mi fi step pass the father go murder the son,” line in his Popcaan diss track titled Dem Run Een.

Kartel added, “When the M1 a buss yuh want to see the fool get up, drop inna gully and float head swell up, any ends weh you have a Portmore bet you seh mi mek nobody doah bother wan friend you.”
According to sources close to the Gully Side camp, Mavado will be dropping a diss track of his own in the coming weeks, the delayed response is due to the “Big League” deejays busy schedule. “The general (Mavado) soon answer Kartel don’t worry,” the source said. “Things just hectic right now with shows, he’s also dealing with some family and business stuff, that’s the main priority right now.”
