The recent feud between Dancehall artistes Mavado and Popcaan is now officially over just moments after the two took their battle to social media.

On Friday the ‘Unruly Boss’ uploaded a video to blast Mavado who he called a ‘Funny Dread’ and his Gully side fans while boarding a flight.

“Shoot off funny dread head now (whaaaaa), funny dread yuh dead now,” Popcaan said. “Have your little funny friend dem a mek bay funny emoji now, bullet inna yuh locks dem.”

The ‘Gully Gad’ later leaked a video of Popcaan and his Unruly Gang being barred from entering a club in Guyana by a single bouncer.

“I don’t fight Instagram war but look at this little clown and Killy Killy them get run away by one person in Guyana from entering the night Club,” Mavado said in a post tagging Popcaan. “Your just a kid your not ready for this battle your just a comedian 😂your not in my league little boy,” he added.

 

Both artistes have since deleted their posts signalling the end of their feud.

On Saturday Popcaan took to social media once again however this time to apologise to his fans, he also gave Mavado a shout out.

The ‘Unruly Boss’ made a post to let fans know the lyrical feud is not violent, “To My Younger And My Older Fans I would like to Apologize For All The language That I Been Using In Me And mavado lyrical #battle,” Popcaan wrote. “We have no violence whatsoever towards each other, bless up all real dancehall music fans wey been a follow the culture and bless up mavado#Wayup.”

Here’s a look at how the Mavado and Popcaan beef all started:

The Gully Gad and Popcaan’s beef started in July when Popcaan released his new single ‘World Cup’ which surprisingly took aim at Mavado’s ‘Big League’ single, saying “Wi nuh know bout league cause we name World Cup/ and the p***y dem nuh like when wi hotta dan thermos / they doah like when ghetto yute f**k the world up / weh them ago do now when the Benz pick them girl up.” 

Mavado then responded with the release of ‘Go Fi Dem’ a Popcaan diss track.

“A wa do you likkle chicken / You think mi war finger licking / Is a gyal mi use trick him / When time she hug up and a kiss him / Anyweh wi aim, deh suh shot a kick him / Freak bwoy a you face gyal a sit in / Yeah the fire hot in a the kitchen / Shoot dem fi 3 life pippin,” Vado deejays.

Mavado also took to social media to send a warning to Popcaan, “Some little artist boy fi know dem bl*******t self don’t make mi of (sic) to get dark because dem know how it will go p***y when you talking about the don have respect like you talking about your mom ahah dem dead to me don’t make it start just know dat.” He wrote.

Popcaan quickly responded to the post at his birthday party saying Mavado is only a gangsta online while he gave a shoutout to his former mentor Vybz Kartel. The artiste also made a post on social media saying, “Wha do some ig gangsta?😀😀 #unruly #winningz #whaaa.”
Mavado then released a Popcaan diss track titled “Dem Run Een” where he labelled Popcaan as a traitor and midget that’s looking a hype in new diss song.
“Like a likkle p***y dem a try rise against the don eno, well anything a anything the war start dem fi know weh dem stand eno, Portmore seh fi step pass the father guh murder the son, p***y yuh wi get five inna yuh face fi the words of yuh tongue, yuh doah bad doah seh yuh damn bad, traitor yuh nuh wut a likkle gran bag,” Mavado deejays in the gritty single.
Popcaan then released his most outward Mavado diss track titled ‘Dutty Dread.’
“Weh dem guh do yah now dem guh tun off yah now and get bun off yah now, hear mi a seh eno dread a Y yuh fi get eno a sing bout underpants, man a sing bout man underpants get the killy dem crazy yah now, whaaaa!,” Popcaan says in the intro. “P***y cyaa be my don, flop cyaa be my don, anyweh inna the world yuh say unruly people seh a bad dem bad, long time man ready fi guh kill dem how one person fi be children (get the killy dem crazy now, whaaaa) wah happen to the dutty dread, mek mi guh use a 40 fi guh buss him head,” Popcaan deejays.

Popcaan then took jabs at Mavado once again and Mr Vegas once ‘Nuh Idle.’
“Artiste a cuss tru the world prefer me / pay fi dem song dem play mine dem play fi free (laughs) / p***y dem seh mi soon flop but a lie dat,” Popcaan deejays about Mr Vegas.

While taking more shots at Mavado saying, “world a drive an’ a mi addi pilot / any boy violate dem marrow man a fly dat / cyaa diss unruly p***y doah try dat (laughs).”

 

The ‘Gully Gad’ then released a track aimed at the ‘Unruly Boss’ titled “Way We Roll” produced by Seannizzle calling Popcaan a poppy show.

“Some boy a real poppy show globally dem vex tru fi dem gal a mad ova mi, a one day mi nuh need nobody, dem kids dem cute mummy suh proud a mi, internationally dem just locally some bwoy just plain since dem know addi,” Mavado sings.

Mavado then released ‘Funeral’ produced by DJ Frass records claiming Popcaan snitched on incarcerared Dancehall superstar and his former mentor Vybz Kartel, borrowed his style and stole from Chi Ching Ching.

Popcaan then responded with ‘RPG’ and ‘SlaughtaHouse Style’ both produced by Notnice records.

Mavado then released another diss single aimed at Popcaan titled ‘Dem Nuh Ready.’

The ‘Unruly Boss’ has answered telling Vado that he was ‘Born Ready’ in another Notnice-produced records track.
