The Dancehall superstar has dropped another reflective gem called “Life,” which tells his story of rags to riches.
Mavado keeps it real, giving fans an insight into some of the struggles he faced on his journey to stardom. The deejay also doesn’t forget to cation fans of the fight you get once you reach the top.
The track, which is featured on Tru Ambassador’s Soul Survivor Riddim, is only the latest standout track from the Gully Gad.
Mavado uses a lot of vivid imagery in the track, detailing the days he literally had one pair of shoes. His battle-hardened voice gives listeners an emotional connection, allowing them to immediately feel his pain.
The track seems to be resonating well with audiences as fans have so far given it their stamp of approval.
