Dancehall hotshot Intence looks set to carry his domination into 2021 with his latest track “New Year.”
The controversial Dancehall artiste was one of the most consistently trending acts of 2020 with several sizzling tracks. Now, the “Go Hard” deejay is looking to continue his meteoric rise into this calendar year.
The track, which is produced by ZIMI Ent, sees the deejay giving thanks for life and continued success. Throughout the song he recounts his past experiences while expressing his gratitude he has mad it to a ‘New Year.’
The video opens with the deejay in church alone, seemingly confessing his sins. The imagery used throughout is reflective one, with the deejay sharing his past experiences and gratitude for life.
“Most a the people weh mi rate dead gone / More time mi pree fi wild but mi stay calm / It hurt mi more when dem say a true yuh ears hard, thats why mi stay far,” he spits in the track.
Fans already seem to be loving the track, with many showing their approval on social media.
“People say quality over quantity but Intence gives quality in quantity,” one fan declared, while another added, “Everybody can relate.”
Since its release, the track has amassed over 445,000 views on YouTube and is the No.1 trending song in the region.
