Dancehall artiste Elephant Man‘s baby mother, Shamar Grant was shot dead while at home with her son in Cedar Valley Road, St Andrew, Jamaica earlier this week.
According to reports, early Monday morning while Grant and her 13-year-old son laid in bed multiple shots were fired through her open window. Grant’s son says, when his mother received the first shot she pushed him off the bed and told him to stay behind her as she was sprayed with bullets.

Her family and the Cedar Valley community has been mourning her death, according to Conroy Pinnock, Grant’s uncle she was a loving individual who didn’t cause any trouble therefore he remains flabbergasted as to why someone would want to hurt his niece.
Meanwhile, Elephant has been tight-lipped on the situation.
