Elephant Man is getting some stuff off his chest as he claims Fat Joe stole his dance move and is also taking credit for giving DJ Khaled his big break.

The Energy Gad made the declarations recently when he appeared on Episode 2 of season two of Magnum Tonic Wine’s “Spice It Up” talk show.

“Fat Joe come and take rockaway, him no know weh it come from,” Elephant Man said while speaking with Spice, Ce’Cile and veteran selector Foota Hype about the Dancehall industry.

The instructions for the Fat Joe’s “Rockaway” dance move found its way on Elephant Man’s 2003 release “Blase.” In 2004, Fat Joe would go on to create “Lean Back,” which had similar elements to that of the move popularized by Elephant Man.

Ele continued by saying he was one of the entertainers who helped DJ Kahled to get his big break as disc jockey back in the days.

“We a do so many creative things in Jamaica that it attract Dj Khaled – A me buss Dj Khaled, a no nobody [else] and him never come talk yet,” Elephant Man explained. “When him a drive the old BMW, wa blue one a Miami, it never talk yet.”

He continued by sharing another history in the Dancehall archives as he spoke about R&B superstar Usher and Lil Jon.  “Usher go ‘Thunder Clap’ when me did de Japan and me never get fi go pon the song with him and Lil Jon and Ludacris and me never make it a big deal. Me know seh dancehall and Jamaicans are doing great stuff because we are keeping it so real, we no grow fi come talk certain things,” he said.
