D’Angel says her ex-lovers Beenie Man and Bounty Killer are ‘the two baddest artistes Dancehall have ever seen.’

D’Angel made the statement on Friday during their Reggae Sumfest performance in Montego Bay.

The Dancehall veterans revived their classic rivalry on Night 1 as they performed on stage together. Beenie Man and Bounty Killer recently set aside their differences, so the clash was a historic show of unity.

The King of Dancehall came out clad in white as he did back in 1993 when the two went at it for the first time on stage at Sting. While Dancehall General Bounty Killer came clad in black for the friendly burial. Their set was filled with friendly rivalry and had the audience absolutely thrilled as they exchanged lyrics intermittently.

“Me and Beenie Man a war for 20 years and see we are now united. Ghetto people, we can settle our differences. This is no longer Beenie and Bounty, this is Moses and Rodney,” Bounty Killer told patrons inside Catherine Hall, Montego Bay.
