Alkaline is back on the scene with new music and is already stirring up some controversy.

The vendetta deejay has sent tongues wagging in recent days following the release of his latest single “Depend Pan Nobody,” which many claims takes aim at old rival Vybz Kartel well as current front-runner Squash and his 6ix crew.

In the freshly released track, the “Formula” deejay takes several shots at his detractors and rivals in the industry declaring that he didn’t need any ‘strength’ from any of them.

However, the standout lines in the track which seems to have incurred some controversy are the bars poking ridicule at his rivals who are declaring themselves “Bosses.”

“Dem annuh boss dem ah basket / Can’t run the place uno gwaan run a CrossFit / 45 deh to you jaw bone / Nah stick, ah don’t need a second or a third till mi claat it,” the Vendetta Boss deejays.

Fans quickly took to social media speculating that the “After All” deejay was clearly throwing shade towards the “Worl Boss” and also newcomers “Squash 6ix Boss,” and Chronic Law.

According to some fans, the deejay cheekily took aim at the 6ix crew, with the lines encouraging his rivals to try running ‘crossfit’ instead of Dancehall, which may be viewed as a jab at Squash and Chronic Law’s larger physique.

There is seemingly some truth to the speculations as Squash apparently reacted to the diss track earlier this week when he took to Instagram declaring he was not the ‘savior’ for anyone’s career and would not pay them any attention.
