Pembroke Pines, Florida was the location for the music video shoot for dancehall diva Tifa’s latest single Buss a Wine. The was song produced by Miami’s Dutty Dex, while the video was directed by Izzy.
“The video was shot on location at the Grand Café at Dutty Dex’s event called Double Tap Sundays and in and around Oakland Park at Garage and surrounding areas”, said Tifa.
She spoke about working with Izzy, “Izzy is my kinda dude. He’s very meticulous and he knows how to make me look like a millionaire on camera. Not every director knows how to shoot women and he’s got that. He has the international look pat down and we will definitely be working again”.
Izzy gave a hint as to what fans can expect when the video is released. “I have high expectations for this one. Looking to go viral nothing by the best. From the footage that we got, I think it’s going to make some serious noise”, he said.
“Working with Tifa has to be the most pleasant encounter I have had with any entertainer in my life. She’s the most down to earth person with a natural positive aura and personality. As soon as she heard the riddim, it was an immediate vibe and I was more than impressed when I heard the lyrics she had laid on the track”, said Dutty Dex.
He added “The song will be released in a few weeks and I am almost sure that once people hear it, they will immediately love it. So, ladies, get ready to whine to this one”.
Tifa is currently on her Canadian tour which wraps on the 24th of February.
“‘The tour has been awesome. I made history in Belleville, Ontario being the first female dancehall/reggae artiste to perform there. It’s crazy how the fans came out in the snow for you! It’s a diverse crowd, but the hardiest find you everywhere you go. Plus, there are a lot of farm workers here who just want to have fun and see some of their favourites, that they wouldn’t otherwise see in these far cold places”, she explained.
While in Florida, Tifa recorded a collaboration with American R&B singer and reality television star Pleasure P. He is also a member of the group Pretty Ricky and appears in the VH1 series Love & Hip Hop: Miami.
