According to Jamari’s father, Fitzroy Reid, although he is devastated by his son’s death he is not entirely surprised about the allegations that his daughter-in-law was involved in his murder.
Reid did not disclose his reasons for not being shocked, but lamented that his son would still be alive if he was aware of certain events prior to Jamari’s killing. The heartbroken father went on to say that his son was “too secretive” for his own good.

Jamari’s wife, 56-year-old Monique Cook-Reid, of a Canadian address was formally charged with solicitation to commit murder on Friday.
The 25-year-old upcoming Dancehall artiste was shot and killed, execution style at his home in Falmouth, Trelawny.
