Tifa is planning to take legal action against outspoken selector/producer Foota Hype.
Last week Foota Hype blasted the Dancehall Diva along with his ex-fiancée, baby mama Ishawna and Yanique Curvy Diva because they are supporting the local LGBT community by performing at their PrideJA Breakfast Party.
Speaking on the topic, Foota Hype said he was most surprised by Tifa confirming the controversial gig, “Mi a wonder if ina dem head dem a say being gay is the right thing or dem a say dem bruk or dem jus wah tek di show,” he said on Instagram live.
However Tifa isn’t here one bit for Foota Hype’s comments and took to Instagram to announce her plans to sue the selector, citing that his actions were defaming her character.
In a passionate video, Tifa said Foota Hype was not using social media responsibly and advised him that he would be hearing from her lawyer.
The “Spell It Out” deejay also suggested that Foota was being vindictive because she hasn’t been interested in him for the past two years that he has been making advances at her. She asked if her romantic disinterest was the source of Foota’s grievances, “Where is this coming from Foota? Is it because you’ve been making advances at me for the past two years… in Jamaican terms, you’ve been looking me or trying to make advances at me, cause you say yu love brown skin woman fi two years, and I’m not paying you any mind? I’m in love with somebody, and you’re not my type.”
