Sting will be making its highly anticipated return this year after a three year hiatus.

MC Nuffy made the announcement over the weekend during his candid Onstage TV interview with Winford Williams.

According to the popular Dancehall emcee, event organiser Isaiah Laing will revive the iconic dancehall stage show on Boxing Day and they are hoping to have performances from Buju Banton, who is expected to be released from prison in December, and Vybz Kartel, who is currently awaiting a verdict on his appeal.

Organisers pulled the plug on Sting back in 2015 after the turnout was less than previous years, which was blamed on a lack of sponsorship, and failure to book top Dancehall acts.

More details on Sting 2018 including location, sponsors and performers will be revealed to the public come next month.
