Squash is set to drop his debut album “Mr. Whittaker” in the summer.

Dancehall fans are excited as Squash has announced that his debut studio album will be released on June 6.

The album will be a collaboration between the deejay’s 6ix Is Real Records label and VP Records.

The 14 track set will feature a host of collaborations including singles with Daddy 1 and Chronic Law.

“We have a few collaborations on it including with internationally known artistes. We are keeping the names of the international artistes on the album quiet for now, but the fans will not be disappointed,” Squash told the Jamaica Observer.

Some of the producers who contributed to the project include; Shabdon Records, Sky Bad Music, Hempton Music, YG Records, Wap Dem Records, East Link Records, Sonovic, and Atto Matic Records.

According to Squash, the album will feature a bit of everything, focusing on his journey in the industry.

“Most people don’t know what it took for me to get to this point. This album also means a lot to me because it is also a tribute to G-Man, my brother, who inspired me to dream big and work smart to get this far,” he said.

Squash, rose to popularity in 2017 with a slew of hit singles including “Lavish” and “Money Fever.”

The deejay is also credited as the leader of the popular 6ix crew. Some of the artistes featured in the camp include Chronic Law, ZiZi, Bobby Six, and Daddy 1.
