Dancehall superstar Spice will be returning to VH1’s hit reality television series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Last year November, speculations on social media were that the “Romantic Mood” singer would not be returning to the TV series when it’s eighth season premieres, however we can now confirm that Spice will be back on our screens.

On Monday, the VH1 crew travelled to Trinidad and Tobago to capture footage of Spice performing at one of the biggest shows of the Carnival season, Machel Montano’s annual concert, Machel Monday.

In March of last year Spice joined season seven of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. She immediately got tongues wagging the moment she stepped on the set when she declared: “I’ve outgrown my country.” This was in relation to questions as to why an established act would appear on a series dedicated to exposing emerging talent.

In LHHATL tradition, Spice had a number of on-screen spats with cast mates, which only added to the drama the series has become known for since it first aired in June 2012. Spice has publicly stated that she is using Love & Hip Hop Atlanta as a means of reaching a wider market with her music.
