Dancehall superstar Popcaan is featured on the official soundtrack of NBA 2K21.
The Unruly Boss’ “Promise” single taken off his his 2019 Vanquish album produced by OVO will be featured on the 2K Beats soundtrack for the latest edition the popular video game.
NBA 2K21 is a basketball simulation video game that was developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, based on the National Basketball Association (NBA).
It is the 22nd installment in the NBA 2K franchise and the successor to NBA 2K20. The game was released on September 4, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and will later be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S.
Popcaan’s appearance makes him the only Jamaican and Dancehall deejay to be featured on this year’s soundtrack of 150 songs. Other entertainers on the official soundtrack of NBA 2K21 are rappers Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Pop Smoke, 2Chainz, Rick Ross, Idris Elba and many others.
