Popcaan

Dancehall artiste Popcaan is having some serious withdrawals from not performing live on stage.

In a post uploaded to his Instagram account, the Unruly Boss wrote, “jah know me miss stage show yo f**k☹️☹️☹️😔 ppl how much more longer unu think before we can do this again?.”

Its been months since Popcaan like many Dancehall and Reggae entertainers performed for their fans due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The entertainment sector has been majorly affected with events cancelled leading to massive fall out in revenue. Many events like Reggae Sumfest had to reorganised, hosting virtual concerts with a fraction of the lineup.

Popcaan’s post got the attention of Canadian rapper Drake who wrote, “Next unruly fest will be a mawdddaz” to which Popcaan replied “no joke bra”.

Quada, Dre Island, Desha Ravers and many others were also in the comment section.
