R&B singer Michel’le and Lifetime remain unbothered by legal threats made Dr. Dre in relation to her upcoming TV movie “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le.”

Michel’le and the Sony owned Television network Lifetime have refused to alter their any part of their upcoming TV movie “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le” despite legal threats from Dr. Dre warning them not to depict him as a woman beater.

The made for TV movie is centered around the R&B singer’s past relationship with N.W.A. founding member Dr. Dre from three decades ago. It reportedly features depictions of her alleged domestic abuse throughout their troubled relationship.

Lawyers representing Dr. Dre issued a cease and desist letter warning both Sony and Michel’le that any such depiction would be considered defamation. Michel’le has however maintained that these are empty threats because she has the truth on her side.
