Mary J. Blige has honoured with her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday.

The Grammy-winning R&B songstress was given the 2,626th star on the Boulevard during a ceremony which was emceed by Sean “Diddy” Combs who famously executive produced Blige’s debut album.

The 47-year-old star was visibly elated with the honorary recognition, stating that she was “so grateful.”

Throughout her extended and very successful career, Blige has managed to become a mainstay name in Hip Hop and R&B industry, releasing 12 albums and copping 9 Grammy awards in the process.
