Jay Z and Beyonce shut down Trench Town, St. Andrew on Tuesday and transformed the community into a Hollywood movie set.
Police officers and private security guards blocked off a section of the area as the American power couple shot their brand new music video.
In a footage uploaded online, the rap legend can be seen riding a ‘Yeng Yeng’ motorbike with wife Beyonce coolly nestled on the back. They were followed by a number of riders behind them.
The scene reportedly had many takes, with the residents of the area shouting adoringly, “We love you Beyonce”. “Queen B” and “Diva Beyonce” were some of the names they called her, while she waved and smiled approvingly during breaks.
Jay Z and Beyonce arrived in Jamaica on Sunday. Sources close to the two say they also will be working on some new music for their upcoming “On The Run II” tour while on the Island.
Their visit comes just months after Jay Z jetted to Jamaica last year during a recording visit with Reggae icon Damion ‘Junior Gong’ Marley. They also shot a music video.
