Dancehall singer Jada Kingdom shares a three minute video of the process of making the WiN video.
BTS documentary was narrated by Twinkle and it gives us an explanation of what the title of her song “WiN” means. She also walks us through some areas in Seven Mile, similar to the music video.
A small concrete, and board dwelling, nestled behind corroding zinc made fences, a vivid depiction of very humble beginnings, which was also the main plot in the official video seems to be her family home.
In one part of the documentary like video, her mother, Tanisha, is heard in a snippet of the audio footage, expressing her reluctance with her daughter having to mingle about with the sullied music-studio lifestyle to launch her career.
WiN was inspired by “abundant humility”, she stated, “I felt like I was walking around with this huge void everyday and I would just get frustrated because I neva understand what it was.” she added.
“Mi create WiN fi remind myself everyday say mi can do this and no matter how much mi fail … all mi did haffi do is get up and try again, cah mi must win one day.” Jada Stated.
Eventually she would stop listening to all negative comments and start believing in herself.
