Foota Hype has been receiving backlash from his followers and fellow artistes after he constantly harassed Koffee about her deportment and allegations that she was involved in same-sex relationships.

The backlash began after he made quite a few anti-Koffee Instagram posts, and among them were direct messages with woman uploaded a direct message conversations the two shared.

Serani was among the few to call out Foota Hype for his post, addressed Foota, “Dawg! This is big big f**kry! F**ck do you dawg? Everybody inna Jamaica love har except you. Lowe d girl!”

However, Foota responded to the producer/artiste, stating that he has no malice for Koffee, “I don’t hate her. I hate the image she is projecting and remember this I am a leader not a follower I don’t have to say what u or anybody else is saying. I have my own views and opinion like everybody else and she is a public figure and so am I so I can speak about her if I choose to. She a push a lesbian image and me and nuff other ppl nuh like it and mi done chat.”

Serani insisted that Foota’s hatred was evident, “Look how much ting a gwaan inna d world and you spend so much time a worry bout wah Koffee doing? You know how bad look pan you? I just don’t like hate in any form and all i see from you right now and every time you a trouble d girl is hate…She has the hottest song inna d country now! Talk bout dat! Smh,” he said.

“Mi know you for almost 20 years now. You never used to stay suh! Mi know you guh tru nuff inna u life and mi feel your pain as a brother but u cyaa mek it turn u into dis brov! Lowe d girl!” the producer added.

Last weekend, Downsound music producer Cordell ‘Skatta’ Burrell, also had scolded Foota in an Instagram Live discussion. Skatta said to Foota that he was guilty of ‘taking set’ on young artistes because he also had similar remarks for Intence, Alkaline and Masicka.

Cordell also blasted Foota for posting a musicv video of a female artiste questioning Koffee’s sexuality. “Dah song deh a f**kery deh bredda. Dat song is f**kery,” Skatta stated “I don’t see her dressing as offensive. Tell me how that offensive,”

Ce’Cile also reprimanded Foota Hype for his attacks on Koffee, “U do know a lot of kids would not see this until u posted it… look how much man a beat woman where is your voice…koffee business a badda nobody??? Wether me agree with her or not why??? Can u help me get the sex offender registered Footah…please need help with that,” The singer stated.

Jamaican actress and writer Zandramah also went viral on Instagram after she blasted Foota Hype.

Zandramah stated that she wants “to defend Grammy Award youngster Koffee for the history of backlash she receives by her own Jamaican people whose continued ignorance and aggressive culture forces them to attack the LGBT Community. She appeals to them in a raw Jamaican way at the level where members of the Caribbean diaspora will comprehend. She hopes that this artistic effort will take them to a new place of growth as a nation.”
