Veteran Dancehall/Reggae singer is now being sought by cops in New York a stabbing incident which left one man seriously injured.

According to police reports, the 51-year-old Jamaican, whose real name is Ronald Brown, stabbed and injured a male victim in White Plains Road and East Gun Hill Road in New York on September 20.

The veteran entertainer, who is best known for his 1991 hit single “Mr Luxury (The Wickedest Time),” which was featured on the hugely popular King Jammy’s Real Rock Riddim.

According to Detective Sophia T Mason of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, the suspect remains on the run and has failed to turn himself in for questioning despite advisories from the police.

She also revealed that “the victim is in critical but stable condition”.

Cops are now seeking any information that may lead to the arrest of the entertainer, whose last known address was in the Bronx, New York.

Thwaites burst on the music scene with the single “Mr Luxury (The Wickedest Time)” in late 1991. He released several other singles including “Love of My Life Time,” “Respect Due to All Crew,” “Rasta Man” and “Lucky Day.”
