Buju Banton wrote a heartfelt letter to his fans on Friday.
The ‘Wanna Be Loved’ singer took to his new verified Facebook fanpage to thank his fans and well-wishers for their continued support since his incarceration.
“To all of my fans who have stood beside me I thank you. Your actions, letters and heartfelt prayers have been appreciated. I thank you and am humbled by your kindness – I am with you and you with me. Always,” Buju wrote.
He continued by saying, “After many years there were a multitude of my fans gathered on a page automatically generated from your search for me and my official page. With the approval of my official page you were migrated here…And at last we are reunited.”

“I will be with you again soon – they may have the past and present … but the future belongs to us. Bless…,” he added.
Buju Banton will be released from prison next year.
Back in February 2011 he was convicted on cocaine distribution and conspiracy charges following his December 2009 arrest, Buju was sentenced to 10 years and is slated to be released on December 8, 2018.
