The court case involving Dancehall producer Anju Blaxx and Brent Bunting, the son of former security minister Peter Bunting, has been sent to mediation after being heard in the St Andrew Parish Court in Half-Way-Tree recently.

Last month Bunting and the UIM records CEO were involved in a physical confrontation at the producer’s home in St Andrew.

According to reports, family members had staged a surprise birthday party for the Dancehall beatmaker, whose real name is Andrew Myrie. It is alleged that Bunting turned up to the residence complaining about the loud noise, and a fight reportedly ensued.

Reports indicate that Bunting sustained a fractured jaw while Myrie was left with injuries to his face.

Cops charged Myrie with wounding with intent, while Bunting was slapped with unlawful wounding charges. The two men are expected to return to court on May 24 to report on the progress.
