Tommy Lee Sparta’s new album “New Creator” has debuted at number nine on the Billboard Reggae Album chart.

The nine-track album, which was released earlier this week by Ricardo Gowe Records has sold 63 copies in its opening week, making Tommy Lee the only Dancehall artist occupying a spot on the Reggae Albums top 50 chart.

The deejay recently released a music video for the album’s lead single “Happy Life,” which is currently doing well on the local scene. Other tracks on the project include “Bad Gyal Duppy,” “Slow Down,” and “We Are Heroes.”

Other Jamaican acts making the top ten of the chart include singer Chronixx, who occupies the number six position, and also Damion Marley, whose Stony Hill project falls to number four from pole position last week.
