The wife of Vybz Kartel, Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson says the incarcerated dancehall superstar is Alkaline’s idol.
Shorty made the comments recently during a candid interview with Entertainment Report’s Anthony Miller after she was asked about how Kartel feels about the Vendetta deejay’s rise in dancehall.
“Alkaline should just talk the truth that Kartel is his idol its very simple easy 123 just talk,” she said.

Shorty also refuted rumours that the ‘Fever’ deejay’s spirit is low and that he has been recording new music behind bars. “I see him every Friday and right now he is stronger than me,” she added. “Right now we have songs that can release everyday a whole long book of new singles.”
