It’s been seven years since Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin won season 5 of The Voice.
Chin reflected on the winning the popular American competition back in 2013 on the 7th anniversary, Thursday (December 17).
“7 years ago today my life changed in so many ways. I’ll never forget this night and I’ll NEVER forget this feeling 😊.,” Tessanne wrote via Instagram.
“There have been ups and downs, hills and valleys but I have to say, some of the best things, the important things remained the same.
I look back on my time on @nbcthevoice as an amazing experience, surrounded by incredible people and it fills my heart ( and my eyes at times 😊).”
The “Hideaway” singer continued by saying, “I also think about YOU , there are no words to thank you for coming with me on this journey and continuing to support me through it all ❤️
Thank you God for all the blessings and all the changes, growth and the adventures and even more so, thank you for all things that are everlasting and unchanging, your love , the love and support of my family and friends and the simple joys that come from just being here on this journey.”
“What a journey it has been so far, it has lead me here to a place of peace , restoration, joy and surrender to all that is and is to come 😊❤️😊 Cheers to 7,” she continued with hash-tags “🥂#IWouldntChangeAThing #TakeALeap #DontStopBelieving #AnythingsPossible #YourWillBeDone #ItsTheJourney.”
