Tessanne Chin has given birth to baby daughter Zaia.
On Saturday the “Hideaway” singer gave birth to a bouncing baby girl, Zaia Christine Crooks.
She took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a photo of her newborn daughter with a lengthy heartfelt caption.
“We are completely and utterly in love and grateful to God for you, our darling girl. A massive thank you to all of the amazing nurses in the maternity ward at Andrews Memorial Hospital. May God bless each and every one of you. Eternal gratitude to Dr Michael Abrahams and all who stood with him… best doctor ever,” she wrote.
Last October Tessanne and husband Brandon Crooks tied the knot after years of dating. She had been previously married to popular media personality Michael Cuffe Jr.
Since the announcement scores of fans have flocked to the singer’s social media extending their congratulations.
“Congratulations. She is so beautiful. Love and light to mommy, daddy and baby Zaia,” wrote Kasi Bennett.
“Oh what an angel, congrats Tessanne on your new bundle of joy,” Cleojay Smith wrote.
In 2013 Tessanne rose to international fame after being crowned champion of NBC’s The Voice. She is best known for hits such as; Hideaway, Everything Reminds Me of You and Tumbling Down.
