It seems Dancehall has found it newest superstar as new sensation Rygin King emerged as one of the top performers at Reggae Sumfest 2018.

The Montego Bay-born deejay, who is dubbed as Dancehall’s “young king” made his debut performance at the annual Reggae festival last Friday to much fanfare and anticipation.

Much was expected of the “Tuff” deejay after being scheduled for a prime-time spot on Dancehall Night, and fast-rising entertainer did not disappoint as he delivered an exhilarating performance, which many claimed was the best of the night.

According to the young deejay, he is happy with his performance despite being nervous before taking the stage. He says he knew he had to prove himself worthy of his moniker as Dancehall’s young king and he did just that.

Although he was always aware that he would receive the backing of his hometown the deejay says he went the extra mile to prove that he is worthy of being on the biggest stages.
