Marlon Samuels has shed new light on his upcoming legal battle with ex-lover Yanique Curvy Diva as well as his beef with Foota Hype.

The Jamaican cricket superstar confirmed that he has a pending court case with the “Lifestyle” singer during a recent interview with Anthony Miller on TVJ’s Entertainment Report.

Samuels refused to comment too much on the Magnum Kings & Queens host during the interview saying “You’re asking me about a person right now where we have a court matter coming up so that is not a question that I will talk about right now.”

The cricketer cheekily went on to shade the female Dancehall entertainer by saying “Better you ask me about other artiste, proper artiste! like Spice, Shenseea and those lovely ladies.”

When asked by Miller why he was so insistent on pursuing legal action against the “Lifestyle” singer the cricketer replied, “I’m a proud father I take my kids to school every day, I cannot afford to let somebody destroy my reputation that I’ve built for so many years with lies.”

Samuels also went on to address his feud with popular Dancehall selector Foota Hype, for whom he recently dropped a diss track titled “Spoon Head.”

According to Samuels, he was provoked by the disc jock on multiple occasions, including a recent attempt to spark a rivalry between himself and another popular Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle.

He claims Foota is still not over his ex Ishawna and became jealous over his appearance in the entertainer’s “Insta Boy” music video.
