Lil Wayne’s relationship with his former father figure, Birdman, seems to have hit an all time low after the rapper declared he is “not family.”
Weezy has declared in a recent interview with Hip Hollywood that Birdman is “not family,” sending a further dent into hopes that the pair can reconcile their differences.
“I’m 34, baby. I’m too old for friends. No, his last name isn’t ‘Carter,’ baby,” Weezy said after the interviewer referred to Birdman as family. “He’s not family.”

The comments come are only the latest Wayne has made in recent history displaying his strained relationship with Cash Money Records and CEO Birdman. Wayne is currently engaged in a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and his label Cash Money.
