Vybz Kartel Prison

The alleged corrupt juror from Vybz Kartel’s 2014 murder trial is set to learn his fate.

While the entertainer is awaiting his own verdict in his appeal trial the juror accused of trying to bribe his fellow jury members in Dancehall superstar’s 2014 murder trial is set to learn his fate today.

Livingston Cain, who is charged with corruption, is scheduled to return to court today where a verdict is expected to be handed down in the matter.

Cain was slapped with several corruption charges including one count of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and six counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice following the infamous murder trial.

Vybz Kartel Strikes Again!

It is alleged that Cain, who is a football coach, attempted to bribe the forewoman and other members of the jury with $500,000 cash in return for a not guilty verdict in the entertainer’s favor.

The prosecution also claims that the man was captured on video by the jury forewoman trying to make the bribe, something which has since contested by Cain’s attorney Valerie Neita-Robertson.

According to Neita-Robertson, it remains questionable as both the prosecution and the investigating officer told the court that he did not personally examine the critical cell phone evidence.

Cain is expected to return to court today and if convicted could face several years in prison.
