Beenie Man has dedicated the first single from his forthcoming “Simma” ablum to his late mother.

On Sunday the veteran deejay took to Instagram to post a snippet of the track, “Fun In The Sun.”

In the clip, the Dancehall superstar can be seen releasing Chinese lanterns into the night sky while standing around a bonfire. In the captions, Beenie dedicate the visuals to his late mother who passed away last year.

“To Mama- I know you are listening from above. There’s nothing that I value more than your love. No matter where I am or what I’m doing, your memories will always keep me smiling. Happy Earthday Mama” he captioned the post.

Co-incidentally, his mother would have celebrated her 64th birthday today.

The infectious track also features Dancehall superstar Popcaan and his Unruly protege Dre Island.

Beenie Man’s Simma album was scheduled for release late last year but was delayed due to several factors. The deejay has since announced that fans can expect the project sometime this year.
