Spice shockingly came under fire from the Christian community over her recent post.
On Saturday the ‘Queen of Dancehall’ took to her Instagram account and wrote, “It’s not what people think about me it’s what god knows about me. Good morning world, let’s think about that one thing you keep putting off to do, just get up and do it today. “See that bag if you got it” – No problem right?
However unfortunately what was meant to be inspirational to her fans turned into a heated debate after church members claimed the ‘Needle Eye’ deejay was disrespectful to God because she never capitalized the ‘G’.
Following her post, several persons commented highlighting her error. “God*” a slew of Christians wrote while others chimed in saying, “Delete this! you’re so rude why isn’t the G capitalised can’t my GOD you talking.”
“God in a small letter [Spice] your god must be a small God,” another wrote. While others theorized that she could be talking about another ‘god.’
Despite the minor backlash, Spice’s comments were flooded with fans thanking her for the much needed motivation. One fan said her inspirational post was just what she needed to complete a task she had been delaying, Spice then responded telling her to “tag me again when it done, don’t cheat don’t lie.”
