Rita Marley is alive and well.

Just moments after rumors circulated that the Cuban-born Jamaican singer and the widow of Bob Marley had died, her daughter Cedella uploaded a video of the two.

In the video posted to her Instagram account, Cedella and Rita can be seen listening to some Bob Marley.

“Jamming wid @officialritamarley on this beautiful day đŸŽ¶ tune into @bobmarley’s Tuff Gong Radio on @sirusxm for good music and better vibes ☀ #CHO,” she captioned the post.

Back in September 2016, Rita Marley was hospitalized due to a stroke. The Marley family didn’t speak much about her condition except to dismissed several rumors that she had passed away.

The made her first public appearance 3 years later when she joined her I-Threes sisters, Marcia Griffiths, and Judy Mowatt at the 2019 Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) award ceremony. The three legendary females were awarded the Iconic Award (for a duo/group).
