Beenie Man has finally broken his silence on beef rumours with Vybz Kartel.
The veteran recording artiste made it clear earlier this week that he’s a huge fan of the incarcerated Dancehall superstar.
According to Beenie, whose given name is Anthony Davis, he admires Kartel’s work ethic and the fact that he continues to dominate the industry despite being behind bars.
Rumours of the two feuding started after Vybz Kartel dropped his album back in 2016 titled “King of Dancehall”, a moniker that was originally associated with Beenie Man.

However the ‘Girls Dem Sugar’ deejay says he wasn’t upset but happy that Dancehall fans are comparing him with the ‘Fever’ hitmaker.
“Weh mi like, dem stop compare mi wid mi peers, dem start compare me with di younger artistes. Mi like dat. Dem stop compare me with Bounty, dem start compare me with Kartel. Dem compare mi wid Alkaline, mi like dat,” he said. “If Kartel wah be me, dat a great thing. Mi respect and love dat. Dat show me how great mi is. Mi love dat,” Beenie added.
