Beenie Man

Dancehall entertainer Beenie Man is set to release released his 19th studio album “Simma”, 13 years following his “Undisputed” project.

The veteran recording artiste was recently interviewed by A’mari “DJ Mona-Lisa” where he spoke about what pushes him to give to the less fortunate, “We know what it is to have nothing, and we know how it is to be nobody,” he said.

Beenie Man, real name Anthony Moses Davis, said that he finds it delightful to donate to others. He added that he witnessed the effects of the Category 5 hurricane Gilbert hit Jamaica in 1988, so he takes pride in donating to the less needy who are normally appreciative of his help.

Beenie Man’s forthcoming album titled “Simma” will be released on his 47th birthday (August 22).

The “King of Dancehall” deejay expressed his disappointment that he was not able to get Bounty Killer on a track for the album, even so he still secured features from the likes of Shaggy, Dexta Daps, Sean Paul, Major Lazer, and Fanatic.
