Sean Paul has offered his support towards Pop singer Demi Lovato following her recent drug overdose while also opening up about his own struggles with recreational drugs.

The international Dancehall superstar offered a few kind words to the Pop singer who made headlines last week after being rushed to the hospital due to a drug overdose.

“I just want to send love to Demi. She’s a beautiful girl and a great, great artiste,” Sean Paul told the Daily Star.

The deejay says he empathizes with the singer’s struggles as he also finds himself battling his own demons as he believes he smokes a little too much, adding that the music industry frequently pushes artists to this point.

According to the deejay, “I do smoke too much, sometimes that’s a relief for me,” explaining that this is how he often copes with the demands of his lifestyle as a global superstar.
