Masicka has kicked off 2021 on a high after his latest track “I Wish” premiered on BET jams this week.

The Dancehall superstar continues to make inroads on the global scene after his music video was added to rotation on BET jams.

According to his manager, Cory Todd, this is only the beginning of big things to come on the international scene.

“Masicka has emerged as the biggest star in this new dancehall generation. He has the swagger, the hits, and the Internet buzz to conquer overseas markets like the dancehall industry did in the late 90s with those generational stars. He is a once in a lifetime talent,” said Todd.

The video, which is directed by RD Studios remains one of the most popular in the region racking up over 2.9 Million views.

Masicka was also recently named as Dragon Stout’s newest ambassador. The deejay signed a one-year partnership with the brand to mark its 100th year anniversary.

Fans can expect a lot more from the “Hard Ball” deejay in 2021 looks to complete his new studio. “Yeah, ah mi studio dis people, yuh see how it big? So ah de facility this, yuh seet? Yuh done know,” he teased fans during a Instagram Live.

Masicka, whose real name is Javaun Fearon, has been one the most consistent Dancehall acts in recent years. He has scored a string of hits including; Infrared, Leader, Top Form, Stay Strong, and They Don’t Know.
