Female Dancehall/Reggae recording artiste Rhythm Piink, given name Tiffany Houston, was born on July 12th 1991 In Brooklyn, NY to a Guyanese mother And a Jamaican father. Piink then spent most of her early childhood and teen years residing in the Flatbush area.
In the early stages of her artiste development, Piink first noticed she had a knack for the Performing arts after clinching her first Dancehall Queen titles in Baltimore, Maryland then conquering Brooklyn’s contest in 2009/2010 staging. She had then continued working on craft on both paid and unpaid gigs.
Fast forward a few years, in 2011 Piink crossed paths with former Dancehall Entertainer/ Promoter Skerrit Bwoy, both parties spoke business and it resulted in a world tour for four years as a contract Dancer for world renowned band Major Lazer. Rhythm Piink has then appeared on several world tour events alongside other upcoming and established artistes, she opened for acts such as Major Lazer, Usher, Skrillex, Charley Blacks, Serani, Wayne Wonder, Mr.Vegas, Elephant Man, Konshens and Mavado to name some of the more impressive acts she’s shared a stage with. Rhythm Piink Judged The 2014 Saint Maarten Annual Dancehall Competition With Artist Charly Blacks.
Since the year 2016, Rhythm Piink has seen nothing but pure growth, she has evolved from an opening act to a Live performing powerhouse and has performed her own works alongside an impressive host of Dancehall/Reggae acts such as: Beenie Man, Mr.Vegas, Major Lazer, I Octane, Demarco, QQ, Ding Dong, Kranium, Dwayno, Voice Mail, Vershon, Spice, Dexta Daps, Yellow Man, etc.
Rhythm Piink’s most recent off-shore stint was with living Dancehall legend Mavado, on a tour of Canada with the Gully Side Band. Rhythm Piink is most frequently in the studio working with local and international producers if she’s not seen on the fore front promoting her new releases, which she believes is the key to all the success she’s reaping in such a short span of time in the industry.
