Popular Dancehall personality and street dancer Bone Crusher has died following a prolonged battle with illness.

According to reports, the popular dancer passed away on Sunday at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) following an extended period of illness.

The entertainer’s cause of death has remained unconfirmed, however, according to female Dancehall artiste Starface, the dancer reportedly had cancer which eventually took over his blood.

“He was a jovial youth and a great dancer. He had not been going out as often recently, but he was still doing his thing. Everybody rate him, he was always hanging out at my father, Happy’s Liquor Store on Nelson Road, that’s where I know him from, and he used to be in the streets a lot… always jovial, a real clean spirit,” she added.

Bone Crusher, who hails from Matthew’s Lane in downtown Kingston, had made a name for himself during the peak of the street dance era, regularly performing at weekly events such as  Passa Passa and Dutty Fridaze.
