Dancehall artiste Danielle D.I has sought to address the reported feud between herself and Ce’Cile over her ‘Bad Gyal’ moniker.
In a lengthly post the “Class” singer says she thought the beef was over as she spoke with Ce’Cile who begged her to delete her response as she wasn’t throwing shade at her only to see her attacking her brand again. Uploading the music video for “Turn Him On,” which features both artistes D.I wrote, “I thought that this was over which is why I declined the interview w/ @thejamaicastar but evidently it’s not. I just want to clarify that I was not arguing over any title; I simply refused to let another female who represents in the same industry blatantly try to disrespect me before the entire world! Especially someone who I did my first video with back in 2003, I expected better!.”
She continued by saying, “In my interviews I’ve always showed gratitude for her contribution. I was at the hair salon when my phone started to blow up that she was disrespecting me for using my long time from school days “bad gyal” slang and that I was using auto tune. My DMs were equally ablaze and I felt compelled to respond.”

Danielle added that, “She begged me to delete my response, said she wasnt throwing shade and that she would never go there with me. I did just that and she then asked me to message her privately. Fast forward to today she’s attacking me again. If it wasn’t because of the council of my team (who she’s also trying to style)I would GIVE IT TO HER!.”

The feud between the two female artistes started earlier this week when Ce’Cile uploaded a photo days after Danielle D.I. called herself ‘Bad Gyal D.I’ during a Hype TV interview.
“So quick petty question. When I said “Bad Gyal” nobody said it b4. Cause i think as an artist u should be ORIGINAL. I seen a few artist since refer to themselves as Badgal.. case in Point Badgal Bambi and Rhi but Rhi a rock star suh she can do anything she wants,” She said. Ce’Cile continued by saying, “but i never heard them CLAIM THE NAME.. but when u go do an interview and say you the “original” or “official” then clearly u not. I hope the voice is. No auto tune neida. I’m just saying PUT SOME RESPECK ON ME NAME. at least give credit. Cause Google don’t lie. #respectrealartists #seriouslynow#musicajoketoraas #errybodyaartist.”
D.I then replied saying, “Dear little Cinderella, this a bad gyal D.I. Yes, I did say it on Hype TV last Friday night and I will continue to say it. You are not bad gyal. Bad gyal how? Furthermore, no one sees or considers you BAD in the 1st place, so no need for the SHADE.” She added that, “For your information, YES, Class have autotune, and so do many many hit songs in the world. This is why the industry can’t grow. Instead of building another female you’re trying to break one down. Back in the days I THOUGHT you were cool, we did a collab together and it was all good. What the hell happened you? What made you so angry? Are you angry cause Mr you know who not putting the respect on your NAME.”
